‘Ode to…’ Created by Graham Elstone A piece about a busker playing music to the public with little to no reward yet he still continues to make music. Graham invites the public to release the busker in themselves with this interactive piece.  Graham Elstone works as an artist, creative educator and project manager. Projects and creative work are exhibited regionally, nationally and internationally. His works involve digital arts, installation, performance and mixed media.  Elstone's artwork has been shown in galleries, theatres and at festivals. Much of his work is made for public spaces and unusual settings, including shop fronts, disused buildings, streets, rural landscapes and other public buildings.  Much of Elstone`s work requires interaction from audiences to explore and participate. www.kerrydilksillustration.com  author and illustrator  Kerry shared with us that she had shown creative sights from an early age and had a arty upbringing. Living in Iilkston, Derbyshire all her live and loving her location. Growing up she studied media studies at royal Holloway but did not enjoy it and felt as though the wrong path had been chosen. Kerry then chose a art foundation course and found this really enjoyable and welcoming. Kerry was being encouraged by a tutor there to take a look at illustration and she took a big interest in this. Finding inspiration in children's books and looking at artists such as Judith Kerr, Shirley Hughes, Raymond briggs. She then joined a illustration course at Derby university but left disappointed and continued to work on her own portfolio.  Tristram Aver Exhibitions curator around notts museum's and galleries for 16 years Tristram knows Nottingham well and local artists. He completed a fine art degree but decided not to pursue a masters. Has worked in every gallery in Nottingham besides The Contemporary. Working with turner prize winner artists. The castle is over a thousand years old, Grade 1 listed site. It recently had 32million referb. Deer park and Williston hall also connected. (bryon is not a legend, (Newstead) He is a very naughty man!) Chat with Paul keen local artist.  Back where I've lived most of my life in Peterborough/Stamford are a few fellow artists I have had the privilege or working alongside and spilt a few beers with. One chap in particular called Paul Keen had an exhibition on in the Peterborough museum and so i decided to go take a peek and show some support. Me and Paul have worked together before with a group of other artists in the area and this gig was my first live paint jam all held together by a legendary gent called Kaine who owns Korp Academy and help live paint jams open to the public in and around Peterborough and Stamford. Now Kaine runs the Korp Academy teaching incredibly unique styled drawing lessons for adults and even children in the school holidays in cohorts with the local art council and government funding to support childcare funding for those in need. Towering spider sculptures, odd stylized character head sculptures, painting and printmaking.   Maman 1999 for the Tate museum Maman is a whopping great sculpture that stands over 30ft high and 33ft wide.
